Under Gaslight
Privacy Policy
Under Gaslight, made by Stout Sound & Design, is a card game that plays entirely on your device.
Effective 3 October 2026. Updated 2 November 2026: the iCloud switch is in Settings.
No account
Under Gaslight does not require or offer an account or sign-in.
No advertising, analytics or tracking
Under Gaslight contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software, and does not use third-party SDKs.
No server
Stout Sound & Design does not operate a server for Under Gaslight and does not receive your game data. The game makes no network requests of its own; matches against the computer, the story campaign and pack opening all happen on your device.
Your collection stays with you
Your cards, packs, decks, campaign progress and settings are stored in the game's own storage on your iPhone or iPad. If iCloud is on and you leave Back up to iCloud switched on in Settings, a copy of your collection and decks is also kept in your own iCloud account so it can be restored on a new device or after reinstalling. That copy is stored by Apple in your iCloud, under Apple's privacy policy; Stout Sound & Design cannot see or access it.
Purchases
Under Gaslight is free to download. A free pack arrives every 12 hours, and optional card packs can be bought through the App Store; Apple handles each transaction under its own privacy policy, and Stout Sound & Design receives no payment or personal details from it. Bought packs have exactly the same contents and odds as free packs, and the odds are published in the game.
Children
The game collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Purchases go through Apple's own controls, such as Ask to Buy and Screen Time.
We do not sell personal data
Under Gaslight does not collect personal data, so there is nothing to sell or share.
Deleting your data
Deleting Under Gaslight from your device deletes everything it stored on the device. To delete the iCloud copy, turn off Back up to iCloud in Settings (the gear on the Play tab); the copy is deleted and no further copies are made.
This website
undergaslight.com sets no cookies, runs no scripts, loads nothing from other companies, and keeps no logs of visitors.
Changes
If a future version changes how Under Gaslight handles data, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated before release, with a new effective date here.
